Remembering Those Who Served… USA

On the heels of Memorial Day Weekend 2023, we want to pause and consider all of the troops that have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. The purpose of Memorial Day often seems to be overshadowed by a long weekend that families and friends often spend barbequing or filling their time with other (often fun) activities. The reason we are all able to enjoy our lives the way we choose is because of the sacrifices made by the troops who have served our country since its birth! We believe it is important to take the time to remember the very important reason for this holiday.

Memorial Day VS Veterans Day

A common meme I have seen on social media year after year is a distinguishing outline of the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. This meme is an accurate outline of the differences.

Families Left Behind

In addition to considering the individuals who served and gave their life for our freedoms, we also consider the families who lost their loved ones. Wives, Mothers, Sisters, Husbands, Fathers, Brothers, Children…. everyone that endures the loss of their loved one as it is a never-ending, difficult process.

For Love of Country

America has long held a reputation of being “The Land of Opportunity”. While the country is by no means perfect, Americans still possess more freedoms than the rest of the world. It is because of the Patriots that serve our Country to protect our freedoms from enemies, both Foreign and Domestic, that America is still alive.

Take a moment to be thankful for the sacrifice soldiers have made for the sake of Our Country and Our Freedom! We are truly blessed to live in this land!
